NineteenTwelveMemberGreetings!
My significant other and I are looking for a two bedroom house or apartment in the Alaska Junction area. We’re seeking a charming and wonderful place with great landlords. Our preference is for a place that we can call home for the very long term – I lived in my last rental for more than ten years.
You should care about the condition of your rental, because we certainly will. I have a walking lifestyle so location is very important. He has to drive to work so it would be nice if parking wasn’t completely nightmarish.
We would love something warm and sunny, well, as sunny as it gets in Seattle, let’s call it well lit, with a W/D and at least a bit of outdoor space – I grow a mean tomato and I’m happy to share.
We’re financially secure, incredibly responsible, no pets, no kids and we won’t drive you crazy.
We’d prefer the rent to be $1400/mo or less. Less is always better!
Thanks in advance!

gmcMemberHi NineteenTwelve-
I may have something for you. We have recently moved out of our beloved single family townhome as our single family has grown a little too big for 2 bedrooms. It’s in Morgan Junction (it takes me 25 minutes to walk to Alaska), and has coffee shops, grocery, and restaurants all right there. It’s a 10 minute walk to Lincoln park as well. All newer energy efficient appliances (w/d, dishwasher), gas stove, and great sound views. There is a small garden area as well. We are asking $1400/month. Email me if you are interested: gmc229@yahoo.com

emeraldgirlParticipantHi… I’m not sure how much you like to walk, but I have a cute Mother-in-Law apartment available, 2 bedrooms/1 bath, 1000 square feet, plus greenhouse. Rents for $1175 with all utilities included: w/s/g, gas, cable, electricity and wireless internet. Located in Gatewood, up the hill from the Morgan Street Thriftway. :) If you’d like to see it, please call 206.619.7196. Good luck!

lilithMemberThere is a very small two bedroom house on the corner of 48th and Genesee–about 5 blocks from Alaska Junction. (We live a block away and love it!) I’ve known the last two renters, and they both rented for a couple years at a time with no complaints about the landlord. The only down side of this house is that the kitchen is very small. It has a big back yard, storage below the house and a storage shed, and off-street parking. There is a sign up with the phone number. Good luck!
