Just a reminder that if you want to speak your mind about this proposal, email Danté R. Taylor [JunctionParking@Seattle.Gov]. Dante is scheduling walking tours where we can discuss our concerns. Keep in mind, though that DOT steamrollered the concerns of the Fremont neighborhood. DOT is lining their coffers at the expense of small neighborhood businesses (which are already suffering) and the people who shop and live around there. Personally, I have NEVER had trouble finding parking in the Junction, and I’ve lived here for about 15 years. Support our small businesses, and keep our parking free.
