    Hello Gang:

    After trash/recycling/compost pick-up on Monday morning, I noticed that my compost bin is gone. Before I call the city, did I miss an announcement that these bins were scheduled to be removed for any reason? Or, is this just super random vandalism? Thanks for any insight.

    it could be the trash hauler picking it up because it was broken. they picked up mine a couple of weeks ago. you go online with your account number and report a missing bin. they say they will deliver a new one within two garbage deliveries. we’ll see.

    they say your bin will be replaced within two garbage pickup cycles..
    but i just got an email telling me that mine will come by the 16th.. which is midweek after my second pickup.. and if it doesn’t appear i should call them…
    meanwhile the racoons are having a great time rooting through my yard waste bags.

    one thing i am pretty sure of.. they don’t communicate much with each other. my new yard waste bin showed up today.. thank goodness. still no garbage can which was reported the same day.. but it’s progress.
