The Census Bureau is currently looking for field staff to conduct in-person live interviews with community residents to follow up on the completion of the 2010 Census questionnaire in Spring 2010. These temporary, part-time positions include paid training and reimbursement for approved travel expenses.
Census Takers in King County earn $17.50/HR. 2010 Census job applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Social Security number, be able to pass a background check and take a 30 minute basic skills test. In most cases, workers will be required to have a valid driver’s license and have use of a vehicle. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
