A/C spots for tots?

Tomorrow (Friday) is supposed to be as hot as today and it is still (at 10:15p) 80F in my house!

Would love to escape from say 4-6 with my 1-year old to a cool(er) spot. Ideas? We were so desperate today I bought all sorts of stuff I didn’t need at the MetMarket!

The wading pool at Lincoln Park is good. Last year I spent the 100 degree day at a kids movie and the rest of the day at Bellevue Square wandering around. Maybe not the most fun, but easy with a 1 or 2-year-old if they don’t mind the stroller and at least it is air conditioned, and food, drink, bathrooms and liquor are available ;-)
