Topic: Found mail in the street
I found mail strewn in front of my house this morning. It’s wet and it’s been run over a few times, but it’s still intact. It’s all for residents of a building on 60th Ave SW. If you live there, and your name is Ashley, Mya, Kiana, Jose, Brandi, Kyle, or Molly, I have some of your mail. For Ashley, Mya, Brandi, and Molly, it’s junk mail, but Kiana, Jose, and Kyle have at least one bill or bank statement in the pile.

Hello neighbors! A bright red mountain bike was stolen from our garage this morning between approximately 6:45 AM and 7:15 AM.
If you live on or near 30th Ave SW and have any video or photo footage from that time frame, could you please take a quick look for anyone driving off with a bike or riding/walking a bike? We’re on a steep hill, so the person may have either sped downhill or been walking it uphill.
Any information or footage you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your help!Hello,
I’m the mother of a 2 1/2 year old and finding it incredibly frustrating how few low cost or free activities exist for us to participate in after I get off work in the evenings. It seems every parent activity in our area is designed for stay-at-home parents (generally moms). We’ve done everything I can think of – joined the West Seattle Health Club, go to The Little Gym but it shouldn’t require us to pay over a hundred dollars a month for every activity our child participates in, not to mention the inflexibility of time associated with these small windows of availability. Have others found other things to do with their kids in the evenings during these long dark months? Thank you!Update 11-22: I received quite a few responses and am currently reviewing and responding at this time. Thank you!

I’m looking for someone with (micro) soldering skills who might be able to remove a broken part from a small PCB (from a vintage iPod) and solder on a replacement part (which I have). I’ve inquired at a few local electronics repair places but their quotes exceed the cost of a new circuit board. But I’d hate to let this fairly rare, out of production board go to waste though I simply don’t have the equipment or skills to make the repair. So I just thought I’d throw this up here as I know that West Seattle is chock full of skilled people. Thanks in advance.
