Required qualifications for this position include:
* Completion of Child Development Associate (CDA) or at least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) related credits as determined by program manager
* A demonstrated interest in working with young children
* One year experience as an aide or assistant teacher working with preschool
* Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

We are working to raise $600 towards her necessary dental surgery. Her owner, who recently became homeless, contacted us after Seattle Animal Shelter sent her our way. The original Vet she went to quoted $2,200–we sent her to our Veterinarian , Dr. Tim Kraabel.

Here is what Mira has to say,

‘I was playing and broke off 1/3 of my canine. Luckily, Furry Faces Foundation is donating $300 towards my tooth extraction and helping me raise the balance. My surgery is estimated between $800 and $1,000. Donations of any amount are appreciated and can be made directly to Furry Faces Foundation.’

I’m glad this ended well too! Your description of the sweetly sleeping little squirrel reminded me of something I learned recently, namely that squirrels used to actually be quite popular pets in America, particularly around the colonial era. People would raise and tame little ‘uns like the one you found and, not that I’m advocating such a thing now, but they were supposedly quite funny, wonderful little pets. I think I remember reading something about one taking a bullet meant for a revolutionary war era soldier, as he was asleep in the guy’s pocket when he was shot.

Hi, everybody. One of the most urgent challenges of our time is climate change. We know that 2015 surpassed 2014 as the warmest year on record – and 2016 is on pace to be even hotter.

At this point readers will notice that evidently the president is basing his statement on the surface temperature record, the most highly ” adjusted ” record set of the 4 or 5 global sets commonly referred to, by the liberal media and politicians. He does not mention the error margin in his claim, nor does he mentioned by HOW MUCH these claims are increasing over previous values.

Last year, that leadership helped us bring nearly 200 nations together in Paris around the most ambitious agreement in history to save the one planet we’ve got. That’s not something to tear up – it’s something to build upon.

IT’S ALWAYS FOR OUR CHILDREN

There are many countries – the most vocal outside of us probably India – but the reality is there would be many developing countries who would balk at having to do legally binding targets for themselves. They might be perfectly happy to ask for legally binding targets from developed countries, but we were not going to go back into a Kyoto structure of binding target commitments for developed countries but not for developing. We’re past that. That’s the backwards-looking world. It didn’t work. That’s not where we were going. So the notion of the targets not being binding was really a fundamental part of our approach from early on, and obviously something quite useful for us as well …..

In terms of congressional approval, this agreement does not require submission to the Senate because of the way it is structured. The targets are not binding; the elements that are binding are consistent with already approved previous agreements. So it would not be – I mean, I don’t want to speak in a definitive way, but it’s certainly not – I would just say that it’s not required. What actions are taken or not taken is a separate question, but it’s not required ….

Found a baby squirrel out in the middle of the street about 3 hours ago. It was being attacked by a crow and screaming to no end. It couldn’t walk or jump well enough to even remotely get away from the crow. I know well enough not to mess with wildlife, but I think this one would have been dead shortly, so the wee one rapidly was put in a box in the shade outside my front door to rest. My vet’s office said to put it in a shady, protected area in the bushes after the crow(s) are gone (they keep coming back). Just got a call back from PAWS and they are at full capacity. They suggested that Sarvey Wildlife Center in Arlington, (http://www.sarveywildlife.org/) may be able to help but I don’t have the ability to do this during the week due to work. Anyone on WSB involved with Sarvey? I think I remember from earlier days that a couple of folks out there might be.

I’ve made a little box for the wee one per the PAWS website, but I’m still worried. I don’t see any injuries on the little one, but I haven’t handled it at all to see much of it’s underbelly, other than to observe when it changes position while sleeping. Which it does often… and I’m hoping that is a good sign. It’s body is maybe 4 inches long and eyes may be on the cusp of opening (can’t tell for sure), but this really is a very young little creature. I’ve never seen a squirrel even remotely this young before, so I think it’s well too young to be on it’s own at all. The gal I spoke with from PAWS said he/she sounds too young to survive without a parent.

There have been absolutely no squirrels in the area at all since I found the little bugger and I’ve been checking regularly. No squirrel sounds either.

I know….it’s a squirrel….urban wildlife, etc. However, when you see a tiny little baby that is so tiny that it would likely fit in the palm of your hands screaming and a crow pecking at it – well…maybe I should have let nature take its course, but I couldn’t.

Anyone have any miracle-answers? Or able to help?
