Seeking, no, NEEEEEDING a good chilidog

For the last week or so I’ve been craving a GOOD chilidog, and my homemade attempts just aren’t cutting it.

Any local suggestions?

The food truck that’s been coming to Lincoln Park, Lil J’s Super Dawgs, has chili dogs on the menu:

I can’t vouch for its schedule but what they have online says they are at West Seattle Corporate Center (Delridge/Andover, big flag building) 11 am-2 pm on Fridays. It’s 1:25 as I write this …

I second West 5’s chili dogs. I enjoy their chili, and they use pretty good-quality hot dogs.

There’s also Slim’s Last Chance down on 1st Ave off 99/Marginal. I generally go for the Chili Cheese Kobe Dog.

If you ever find yourself south of here in Des Moines, with the chili dog craving all over you, and it’s too far to come back to the great dogs of West Seattle, stop in at “The Dog House” on the main drive. They have really good dogs.
