Send resume to: hellofloursws@gmail.comIf you are in need of non-medical face masks, I am sewing them, and asking for a donation to cover the cost of materials. Most people are giving me around $5 per mask, but some give a bit less, and others have given me as much as $10 a piece. Thank you in advance for helping me to purchase more fabric and elastic, etc. with your donations.
You can view the 24 different fabric designs, and read all the details about them on my ebay posting here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324161392255. Since there are tons of face masks for sale on ebay already, I am not getting many sales there. But I am not really interested in making money from my face masks. I’ve given many out to friends and family members already and have gotten lots of positive feedback.
FYI, my face masks have 3 layers for more protection: 1 layer of non-woven interfacing sewn between 2 layers of 100% pre-washed cotton fabric. Bendable wire sewn in along bridge of nose for tighter fit. If you need a larger or smaller mask, or would prefer ties instead of elastic then email me, and I will try to accommodate your needs. The custom sizes and styles are more labor-intensive so an additional donation is appreciated.
I will be adding 12 more fabric designs to my ebay listing within the next few days!
If you live in the area we could do a no-contact porch pick up or I could mail them to you, if you’d prefer. People have been leaving cash in an envelope for me upon pickup, or sending me their donation via Venmo. Feel free to email me (stacey1955@gmail.com) if you want to arrange to get some of my handmade face masks. Turnaround times vary, depending on how many orders are ahead of yours at the time you place your order.Stay safe, everyone!

Principals only, no recruitersI need a 20+ tooth per inch, plain end, scroll saw blade. I’m making puzzles for my daughters Campfire troupe out of pictures that they made for their moms, but I don’t have any spare blades. NONE of the local hardware stores carry them, and Amazon won’t get it to me until next week. To be extra clear about the blade, I cannot use the pin end type on my particular scroll saw. The Firebird Campfire troupe thanks you!!!
Has anyone noticed the new cell tower that went up today on top of this condo, just to the South of the 7-Elevin on the West side of California? What an eyesore, right in the middle of the view of the Olympics. Curious whether this is legal to anyone’s knowledge. It went up on top of the elevator stack, which I believe is at maximum height capacity already, adding at least another 8 feet or so to the total height of the building.
