Just read about a new cider and beer-pub called Locust that’s moving in to the building at 2820 Alki Ave. Supposedly they’re opening up this Summer so hopefully that means soon. I haven’t been past it to see if there’s signage up yet though.
It’s not going to be very big (50 seats) at that location but it should be a welcome addition to the beach.

Yesterday we had a small aircraft flying continuously all afternoon towing a GEICO sign. Today another one just passed overhead. This is particularly annoying for those of us already in the flight path from the Sound to King County Airport. The plane yesterday seemed to be mainly on the west side of the peninsula going from Admiral to Arbor Heights back and forth at different blocks like he was mowing a lawn. Why didn’t he move on to Magnolia, Shoreline or down to Federal Way?
Do these people have any idea how annoying their campaign is? If anything it would cause me to shun their product or service. Wondering if there are regulations or limits to what these people can do to our airspace.

Caffe Ladro Barista West Seattle – 7011 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA, 98136I am looking for pre-K for my daughter next year for 2 days/week. Very few WS programs allow for this few days. I’ve found that Bloom Preschool in the Admiral Junction does. Does anyone have a child currently at Bloom who could share their experiences? My understanding is that this year (2018-19) is the current owner/lead teacher’s first year, so none of the reviews available on Yelp or WSB are relevant. Thanks so much!
