This Full Time position will assist the Sr. Manager of loan operations and is a great fit for an individual who is interested in growing with our company. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience with real estate, construction or loan servicing process and procedures, and loan documentation or processing. This position works with the accounting team so basic knowledge of accounting functions is important. The candidate needs to be organized, accurate, detail oriented, good with numbers, and have excellent customer service skills. We are looking for a self starter who can be depended upon to meet deadlines and can anticipate what needs to be done without being told.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Learn & assist in construction loan closings, reviewing conditions in order to close on time.
    • Assist in analysis of title insurance commitment reports including title exceptions, and assist in preparation of title/escrow instructions and loan documentation.
    • Assist in the review, analysis & processing of monthly customer construction loan draws.
    • Assist in accounting operations.
    • Prepare payoff quotes, process incoming loan payoffs, and prepare reconveyances.
    • Order appraisals and insurance certificates and update database.
    • Prepare and manage assignment files.
    • Review loans for past due status, insurance coverage, documentation exceptions, etc.
    • Update and maintain various reports for loan maintenance.
    • Learn and support accounting group/builder services monthly processing.
    • Provide excellent customer services to both internal and external customers.
    • Maintains files with sufficient documentation for third-party review.
    • Mail distribution support.
    • Telephone and customer greeting back-up of front desk staff when needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 1 – 3 years’ experience with real estate, construction or loan servicing process and procedures, loan documentation or processing, accounting or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
    • Prefer a B.A. or B.S. degree in business or an equivalent educational experience
    • Basic understanding of real estate and construction loans.
    • Basic knowledge of lending disbursement processes, procedures and loan documentation.
    • Basic knowledge of real estate related title reports and review
    • Basic knowledge of accounting.
    • Must be accurate, detail oriented and able to multi-task and a critical thinker.
    • Basic understanding of audit, problem solving, data entry and customer service skills.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Basic understanding of construction budget and loan servicing practices and techniques.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong working knowledge of computer software programs such as word, excel, etc.
    • Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public.
