    For duct cleaning connected to a gas furnace, choosing a properly equipped HVAC cleaning service matters since buildup inside trunk lines can affect airflow, indoor air quality, and overall system efficiency. Looking at locally reviewed providers with proper equipment for full ductwork access is usually the safest approach rather than surface-level vent cleaning.

    One service profile that can be reviewed for details, service scope, and recent customer feedback is: https://www.google.com/maps/place/?cid=18018938078258562723, which appears to be a local HVAC/air duct cleaning provider with an established presence on a map-based business listing platform. Checking recent reviews there can help confirm pricing, responsiveness, and whether they handle full furnace-connected duct systems.

    Another option worth considering in the same category is RMS Cleaning, which is often associated with structured duct and HVAC cleaning work, especially when deep cleaning of furnace-connected duct lines is required rather than just vent surface cleaning.

    Comparing a couple of providers side by side usually helps—especially focusing on equipment used (negative air machines, HEPA filtration) and whether the cleaning covers the entire duct network instead of partial sections.

Would love to see the community come together to advocate for speed bumps on 63rd Ave sw. This is the Main Street used to head to alki and for some reason the only one without speed bumps. It’s entirely residential with kids, pets, bike riders and very be ey active. There are way too many cars racing down this street during the day and especially at night. The speed and the noise of these cars is startling, disruptive and very unsafe. We have emailed the city but have gotten no response. Thank you for any support you can provide!

If this is OK to post here,
A community member in west Seattle connection group recommended i may be able to share here;

my mom works at the Roxbury Safeway. I hear all the time about how much she loves her customers and that’s the only reason why she’s still at Safeway. On Thursday 4/2/2026 she had surgery due to a worker’s injury that she was denied L&I and will be out of work for three months. Every time I go into the store everyone tells me how much they love my mom, “oh your sue’s daughter” and you customers are what make her day better and keep her working there dispute the harsh unfair treatment from the company. I’ve started a go fund me to support her recovery during this difficult time.

Donate to help my mom recover, keep stabilized housing and take care of medical bills post surgery. Due to being denied works injury, she’s forced to pay her surgery out of pocket and is out of work for 3 months.
Even if you can’t donate a simple share to show her love, help’s.
Also if you happen to know if any legal advice for injury/disability that would be very helpful. We’ve had a hard fight with Safeway regarding her injury and disability.

Seattle residents should urge the City Council to prohibit cryptocurrency kiosks, often called crypto ATMs. These machines resemble bank ATMs but operate with virtually no meaningful consumer protections. Of the more than 900 crypto kiosks licensed statewide by the Washington Department of Financial Institutions, 73 are located in Seattle. None are subject to limits on fees or transaction amounts, nor are operators required to provide refunds. These are protections other states have adopted to reduce scam-related harm. Yet, even where regulations exist, enforcement has proven difficult. Connecticut, for example, revoked licenses after operators failed to comply.
The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center reports a continued sharp rise in complaints and losses tied to crypto kiosks. In 2025 alone, losses increased 58 percent, with older and vulnerable individuals disproportionately affected. Once cash is deposited and converted to cryptocurrency, recovery is nearly impossible.
Cities are stepping in where states have not. Spokane banned crypto kiosks last summer, and other cities across Washington state are now considering similar action. Meanwhile, Washington’s Legislature has failed twice to pass consumer protections, leaving local governments to act.
This is not about cryptocurrency itself, it’s about stopping a tool that is widely used to steal from vulnerable residents. Seattle should lead by banning crypto kiosks.

Sorry I was late to the party, but I was so elated to hear that COS Elaine Ko had stepped down. This is not about bashing COS Elaine Ko, but she was not a stellar representative to all of D1. After many attempts trying to get assistance for our neighborhood, COS Elaine Ko tried to get a protective order because I was calling her and emailing her about issues in our neighborhood.

The courts rightfully so, granted a temporary protective order. Anyone who is being hurt or threatened should be protected as quickly as possible….But if you put down knowingly incorrect facts which you have to back peddle in court then you are not a good representative. You are an abuser of power. So I personally am glad to see she has stepped down, but unfortunately we still have a poor excuse for a CM. In court, Rob actually said in front of the judge and my neighbors that he would never help us because we were mean to his COS. Couldn’t make that up if I tried. Instead of being a leader, he dug in for the wrong reason. Didnt you hear the judge CM Rob? THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD!

I am not speaking about them personally as I do not know them. Based on my experience with them, I count my lucky stars and would not surround myself with persons who are so interested in the power and not the job.

I say this from the bottom of my heart COS Elaine Ko….good! Now I dont have to worry about you waving your fist in my face anymore. But to Elaine Ko, I do wish you a happy life and retirement. PLEASE STAY OUT OF POLITICS!

On our way back to the car, we encountered said monkey lying alone in the crosswalk in front of the QFC. We promise we are taking good care of your monkey! Monkey wants to re-unite with you!
