BACK TO OUR ROOTS, CULTIVATING COMMUNITY FALL FUNDRAISER
PRESENTED BY WHITE CENTER FOOD BANK, OCTOBER 9TH, 2026 – 5PM-9PM

White Center Food Bank (WCFB) is back with another exiting edition of their Cultivating Community Fall
Fundraiser. This year’s event is especially meaningful as WCFB returns to the White Center HUB, the site of our
former home. The event’s name, Back to Our Roots, reflects this special homecoming and celebrates the history,
resilience, and community that continue to guide our important work.

Attendees support ensures that WCFB can continue to provide access to nutritious culturally familiar food and
essential resources. As WCFB works towards the goals outlined in our strategic plan, support from the community
will help WCFB close gaps and raise funds necessary to keep our community fed.

With TOMO and Patrick’s Café and Bakery providing the catering, the food is guaranteed to delight attendees with
flavor, color and deliciousness. Aaron Garcia, Executive Director of the White Center Community Development
Association is the keynote speaker, and we’ll also welcome Tanoa Polynesian Productions for an opening dance
performance you don’t want to miss.

Join White Center Food Bank in making a sustaining impact and helping ensure everyone can shop for the food they
deserve, regardless of their circumstances.
