In fact, from the RCW linked by the OP:

Legislative intent—1986 c 93: “It is the intent of the legislature, in this 1985 [1986] amendment of RCW 46.61.100, that the left-hand lane on any state highway with two or more lanes in the same direction be used primarily as a passing lane.” [ 1986 c 93 § 1.]

Which means Admiral Way, Highland Park Way, and even the West Seattle Bridge do not apply.

HMC Rich….oh, and I don’t want to forget this. Again, substitute the name Clinton for Trump in this…and think if you would actually support this candidate for president. And ask yourself “why?”

a question I have…when did it become such a sin to go the posted speed limit…it seems there are people who think that’s wrong…I guess I just don’t get it. Should we just take the speed limit signs down? Yes, someone will come back and say it’s just a suggested speed limit…well, when you get stopped for going 10 miles over the “suggested” speed limit, tell that to the sympathetic cop.. The odds are you won’t get stopped…but it CAN happen…it did to me… #moneyIdonthave

Just maybe the rise, measured in millimeters, is NOT Accelerating !

Hilarious that anyone would call David Frum a “devout liberal pundit” – just google the guy’s name. He was George Bush’s main speechwriter, for one.

So it’s ok that Obama blew through every constitutional “guardrail” he encountered to fundamentally change America into a progressive utopia? What is it that we are “progressing” towards anyway? 7.5 years later, the Obama administration has double our debt and all but destroyed our ability to produce anything. Progressive policies have put this nation on the verge of imminent economic collapse and racial civil war. …And a moron at the Atlantic want’s to expound some senseless drivel about Trump not fitting in with failed establishment? WTF?

“…What’s different now is the massive Republican and conservative rejection of the idea that a candidate for president should know anything substantive about governing at all..” –– Well, because the government is systemically failing to do its job. Intricate knowledge about a failing systems is really not very useful. What is more important, is returning the country to processes that have a proven track record of working.

This was my favorite line that illustrates the extent of stupidity expounded by devout liberal pundits: ” Trump is running not to be president of all Americans, but to be the clan leader of white Americans.” —What’s that say about the millions of black, latino, and asian voters who support Trump?

“…Yet overhanging all the causes is the central question: Why did Republicans and conservatives react to those causes as they did? There were alternatives. Of all the alternatives for their post-Obama future, Republicans and conservatives selected the most self-destructive of the options before them. Why? What went wrong?”

On the contrary, Republicans across the nation threw the rigged game board on the floor and selected a candidate that can actually win.

Smitty drops by to discuss sea level rise …. oh, wait – he has nothing !

Well, as a matter of current climate science, yes, the Earth has been warming.

In part, the planet warms as a recovery event from the recent little ice age.

In part, the planet warms as a result of the two most recent El Nino episodes.

And, let us not forget those ” climate forcings ” the dreaded IPCC wrings their hands over.

Now Smitty, perhaps you can cite current science with respect to what part in all of this the ” human footprint ” may be responsible for ?

IF it is the warmest year ever, can you consider what the margin of error in your wild statement might be ? NASA / NOAA have, however these are the sort of additional details they like to bury in their fine print.

You ARE referencing data from the USHCRN, aren’t you Smitty ?

    Smitty ?

Please help me understand. A couple of you are advocating and promoting breaking the law and taking the law into your own hands by driving slow in the left hand lane because you feel you have the right to slow somebody else down. Why do you even care? How do you know it’s not an emergency situation and you are in the way? Do you also block joggers when they try to pass you out on a walk? Have you ever heard of the saying, “two wrongs do not make a right”?

are you worried/scared/frustrated yet? Paul Ryan said that he will vote for Trump. ““I feel confident he would help us turn the ideas in this agenda into laws to help improve people’s lives. That’s why I’ll be voting for him this fall,” Ryan writes in the Op-Ed.” Yeah, right….can you tell I’m a bit cynical about all this?

Launch is a non-profit organization that has PK and before and after school care. This summer we are hosting another year of our Leap Ahead (PK) and School-Age Summer Camp program at Sanislo Elementary. Our Leap Ahead program is a 9 week long summer-camp program to help children learn some skills to get ready for kindergarten! They also have a ton of fun like go on local field trips, workshops with the EMP, Seattle Art Museum, do fun math and have a day where they pet a bunch-o-bunnies! We use the Second Step social emotional curriculum to support their social and emotional needs during the transition as well.

This year we are offering FULL scholarships to children going into kindergarten who have never had previous preschool experience OR who may have particular needs. Sanislo still has several scholarships left! Help me fill those spaces!

For more information please refer to our website at http://www.launchlearning.org

    Regards,

    Christine

Curate: I HIGHLY recommend Sam Clark of Clarkstone at 206-954-7008 — local guy who has worked in the trade for about 25 years. I’ve used him myself on many projects, great workmanship and affordable.

There would be a lot less dead Palestinians if their (not “there” for those of you in the Admiral District) government wasn’t a terrorist organization. My fellow Republicans. Do not attack the Democrats right now. They are doing a fine job of embarrassing themselves with their rigged selection process. I mean really, a woman who is being investigated by the FBI and a socialist as THE two BEST candidates EVER. I don’t see Republicans rioting outside the Bern’s and Hill’s campaign stops. Funny how that free speech thing kind of gets bandied about but is accompanied with a bit of violence. Nope, if you don’t want free speech, be a lib and scream and yell and throw rocks at Police officers who are just doing their job. Remember, illegal immigration is up due to the generous and forgotten policy of the Federal Government. And by the way, Donald Trump’s decisions have not caused death like Hillary’s (and give Bernie credit here too!). Rejoice in the fine job of a party that only cares about feeding itself, government, and promising free stuff while the U.S. economy is tepid and GDP is about the 4th weakest among Presidents. ((BUT THE STOCK MARKET IS SO HIGH you might say… Tell that to the working poor and middle class that don’t get quarterly dividends or can’t afford to invest in stocks)). The louder they scream the more scared they are. Sit back, grab some popcorn and watch the fireworks. I wonder if Ralph Nader or somebody like that might jump into the race? Hmmm.

Our son, and one of his friends that lives in the neighborhood, are old enough to be independent most of the time but still benefit from oversight, someone that can get them to the places they like to go, and a buddy that they can look up to and hang out with. They both enjoy skateboarding, Yu-Gi-Oh, bowling, eating Pho, video games, the occasional movie. Normal teen boy stuff.

If you are 18 years old (so that you are free of the State driving restrictions), responsible, patient, and are looking for a unique summer job experience this may be the one for you. We are thinking of 20-25 hours a week, but that would depend on vacations and your availability. Hourly pay will likely be higher for this job than other summer jobs, but will depend on your fit.

Push the home button until Siri answers, say “Call mom” or dad or a name that’s pretty common. When that person picks up, tell them you found the phone and ask them if they know who it belongs to and/or a way to get it back to them. Worked when I found a phone in a park bathroom once!

Thanks for the suggestions! We are definitely focusing first on here in WS just because of ease of access and keeping it as local as possible but we’re open to the best option regardless of where it may be in the city.

So far, we’ve been REALLY impressed with “West Seattle Women’s Health and Midwifery”. My wife felt really comfortable there and while several of the other places she went to gave her post-it notes with contact info or a business card to check back in at a predetermined time the ladies at the WSWH&M gave my wife a full packet of information, asked her a lot of questions to know her concerns and all around were the most professional, comfortable, welcoming environment we’ve found so far but we’re still checking with others just in case. They are definitely #1 on our list so far though. :)

I have a wonderful OBGyn, Dr. Theresa Burdick. She is in network but unfortunately not in West Seattle, she is in the Heath Medical Building next to Swedish on Broadway. I do have to pay for parking but my recollection is it’s not very expensive (it’s been a year since I’ve been there so this may have changed).

You do realize that we have many socialist aspects to the way that we do things. We socialize the cost of roads, police, fire and EMS service, our court system education, water and electricity just to name a few. We as a nation are peculiar, however, in how we deal with that. We socialize the costs/expenses and allow businesses to retain all of the profits generated while using that infrastructure, meaning that we don’t tax them appropriately or at all and we allow them to bully state and/or regions into incredible giveaways (I’m talking to you, Boeing!) WE have, as a nation decided that the rich get to continue to be rich and that the middle class and poor get to stay that.
As to whom we are at war with; that is an idea, not a nation/state. Military force has never overcome an idea. Ever. It galvanizes it if nothing else. We haven’t actually declared war since 1941. We never declared war for Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm or the “war” that we’ve been prosecuting for the last 15 years. I place quotation marks around war, by the way, because of that missing declaration (congress abdicated its authority for both conflicts) and that we are fighting an idea…with guns. This didn’t work in the Middle Ages during the Crusades, either.

Tell me, how has military force done overcoming Palestinians?
