I am not a MT or a Doctor but anytime I have gone to a “new” Doctor and or MT they up front ask for my insurance card, DL/ID… and they verify that everything they are seeing me for is covered on my insurance.

So IMO you are responsible if the patient ran out on you.

I don’t care if the OP made a coherent statement and I am not interested the op’s political thoughts. What I am concerned with is the statement of “MOVING” somewhere else.

Agree or disagree with what the individual is saying, but stop suggesting anyone should go elsewhere to live. That is of course, unless you are looking in the mirror.

Locust Cider sounds delicious, I can’t wait to try it!

It’s getting more common for businesses not to take cash and I don’t see what the big deal is. What’s your main complaint about it?

The main reasons for not taking cash are precisely like Pangolin stated above – the security issues associated with keeping cash in the business. Both from robberies externally, and stealing internally (unfortunately employees skimming cash is all too common).

I completely understand the business owner’s decision here. Just bring your debit or credit card next time, enjoy a delicious cider, and relax!
