Seeking innovative, calm, well organized employee who understands the big picture as well as the small important details of working the front desk of a medical office. The job is a combo of retail and medical as patients purchase supplements.
Clinic hours of operation are 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday and 9AM- 3PM on Saturday.

Specific Job Duties:

• Prepares payroll journal entries and reconciles payroll to general ledger.

• Works closely with the Human Resources Department to ensure the coordination and accuracy of all pay rates, earnings, benefit deductions, and PTO balances.
• Assists with the maintenance and acts as administrator for payroll systems; researches, troubleshoots, and resolves questions from users.
• Develops and runs custom reports as required by business needs and or/as requested.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal payroll tax laws and regulations; regularly performs research and remains up-to-date on all changes in state and federal legislation affecting payroll; implements updates as required.

• Completes daily activities as assigned or needed; ensures daily tasks and assignments are accomplished correctly and in a timely manner.

Job Summary:
The Key Holder position is responsible for providing an outstanding Branded Customer Experience (customer service) to customers while performing operational duties that drive sales through product knowledge, merchandising, register functions, store cleanliness, and other related duties. Responsibilities
Establish, model, and reinforce the Branded Customer Experience (customer service) and hand selling technique. Use product information, sampling and available resources to educate customers and assist them in making product selections that are right for them. Promptly serve customers, minimizing wait time. Coach and direct staff regarding model service, selling, and customer engagement behaviors.
Drive sales by meeting and collaborating with the store team to understand, support and achieve established sales goals and objectives.

I know this has been asked, answered, and argued many times before but here I go. Does it seem like traffic on the bridge is worse than usual, surprisingly so? It’s at all hours of the day and both lanes Eastbound. I go up to Spokane/Columbian Way all the time and that right lane that used to clear up after 1st Ave exist is backed up to I-5 even at 9 or 10am. Just in general the number of cars on the bridge throughout the morning that direction seems far larger and we don’t even have school on now. What will happen in a month? I know we have more people in W. Seattle now, obviously, but has something else changed?
• We need volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of our seniors! As our front desk receptionist, you’ll answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist seniors with questions. Topic: That ain’t no Easter Bunny…
While watering the front yard this evening, two baby bunnies ran out from under the tangle of lavender on the parking strip. I’ve seen what I thought was *A* rabbit here and there in our Westwood area neighborhood this year, but now it seems it was more than one. And apparently they’re breeding like…you know.
Is anyone else experiencing a Watership Down moment in their neighborhoods? I don’t remember ever seeing rabbits before this year.
And all this time I was blaming the dog for eating the strawberries out of the garden. (That’s actually still plausible…) but I’m now guessing it wasn’t her that ate the spinach.

Topic: Rave: Great American Diner
My husband, son and I went here for the first time last night and it was great!! Service was excellent, food was good (burger, fries, shake, pizza) and the space was so accomodating. They even turned one of the tvs to a kid show for our son – it was super considerate (there was no volume so we got to imagine what they were saying nad other patrons didn’t have to listen to the dinosaur show).
We will be back!
