JanS.. That’s right, you didn’t have first hand experience in knowing what goes on in SHARE/WHEEL shelters. You get all your information either from here or your closest counterparts. So it is hearsay to you. But I have stayed in a SHARE ran sheltered sponsored by a chuch for four months during winter several years ago. Embarrassing and degrading to say the least. I know personally how things are ran. What’s different from staying in a tent at NV than in a church? I just don’t like sleeping on muddy contaminated soil. But the policies are ran the same at all their shelters regardless. Let’s stop the hypocrisy and start dealing with the real issues of what goes on inside those camps.
