the problem with living in our own skin is that we can never know what it is like to live in another.
being so entrenched in self.. we often don’t see the judgments and name calling in our own words… because they are the judgments built into the assumptions we make about the world.
By stringing those judgments together you have highlighted half of the problem.. but i am sure an equal string could be made from the opposing side of any argument.
I try really hard not to make judgments about people, but find myself as guilty as anyone else.
Even a relatively small thing like politics changes the way we talk.
It’s important to remember that there are people behind the rhetoric.
