Charla on the last point I think you’re right. Even now I have a hard time keeping it straight (pun intended) in my mind as to whether it was “yes” or “no” on 8 that I supported. Because intuitively I would say it should be “yes” if you feel that it’s fine for us to marry, and “no” if you think we should be discriminated against. It’s intentionally confusing, as many measures are. They’re often written in such a way that they’re full of double negatives and yes means no and no means yes. The healthcare lawsuits one a few years ago was that way. Completely written to confuse.
