OK, lets look at the past 3 and 3/4 years. Obama inherits a recession. TARP and Stimulus and a huge 2009 budget is passed or implemented. Democrats hold full majorities and almost super majorities for first two years. What happened? Debt increased by Trillions, Shovel Ready jobs not so shovel ready. Billions wasted. Unemployment rises but we were told it would never go over 8%.
The IMF says the US needs to get it’s house in order because if it doesn’t there will be a financial collapse.
Some blame the Republicans who have been in charge of the House for almost two years now, but they have not been able to do much. The Senate will not pass a budget. Because of this the United States is spending at the elevated 2009 levels. Who is to blame for more debt? Not the Republicans. The Democrats own this. They just blame everyone else.
