Well, you usually get what you pay for when it comes to arborists. Sometimes it’s difficult to find someone who can not only do the work correctly, but in an aesthetically pleasing way. Mark Harmon of Stonehedge (a WSB sponsor) is one of the best. Kathy Holzer of Out on a Limb is also very good. I’ve heard good things about Blooma Tree Experts, but don’t know their work first hand. I’d start with Mark, although he won’t be the cheapest…
BTW, if the tree is on the right-of-way (not your property) you may need to get a permit from the City before you can touch it. Call the City Arborist first.
