They just finished our fence on Wednesday (4/30) and did a good job. Their bid was nearly 1/2 of some others, and 1/3 less than the next lowest. They showed up on time and completed on schedule.

#1. Make sure you tell the Project Lead (we had Duke) *exactly* what you want. Many of the workers do not speak English (I am told this is pretty typical for many local fencing companies) so there is language barrier if they are working alone. They completed while we were at work and left a bill.

#2. We went with the cedar fence and cemented posts. The wood is rather rough – so it will be harder to stain. We wanted to go pretty cheap so – maybe there is a probably a higher quality wood or finish you could request? We’re just going to sand the gate – which is what we’ll be touching most.

#3. The standard gate hardware is pretty cheap. I recommend buying the locks and/or handles you want yourself and leaving it for them to install instead of their default stuff.

Overall, very happy – they ran it low to the ground (due to dog) and did all the funky angling etc we asked for!

#4. Tip – don’t pay for them to take away any chain link. Have them roll it and leave it out. Put an add on craigslist for free. Twice now people have picked it up within the hour!
