Understanding Your Cultural Lens for Our Multicultural Community

This is an interactive workshop to explore our cultural lenses. Cultural lenses affect how we walk through the world and how we interact with people from different cultural backgrounds.

*Moving beyond cultural competency to values of cultural humility
*Respectful communication guidelines and practices
*Exercises to recognize and explore one’s cultural framework
*Understand the interplay of our own culture within dominant culture
*Embodies practices to cultivate self-awareness in interactions
