A Botanical & Garden
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
with David E. Perry

The Seattle Chinese Garden is a gem for its beautiful interplay of traditional architecture and diversity of plants native to China. Many of the more than two dozen varieties of Chinese tree peonies will be blooming in mid-April.

This workshop is for anyone with any kind of digital camera from smart phone, to point and shoot, to SLR. All levels of experience can be accommodated and are welcome. Learn how to see and then tell better stories with your photographs and how to enhance them through simple, inexpensive apps available for smart phones or software for your desktop computer.

David E. Perry is an inspirational photographer and teacher whose exceptional garden and plant photos have appeared in numerous magazines including two of the last three cover stories for Fine Gardening, numerous photos in Sunset and in Sunset books and The 50 Mile Bouquet, co-created with Debra Prinzing, and much of the photography for Gardening for Sustainability by John Albers. David lectures and gives workshops around the country and teaches photography and storytelling classes through Bellevue Community College and The Center for Urban Horticulture. He is working on another book project with John Albers and a book on iPhone and iPad photography. Learn more at: http://about.me/david.perry
