I wonder if/when any authoritative body is going to hold Kia or Hyundai accountable for allowing their vehicles to be stolen so easily. I’m not holding my breath but it’s pretty enraging to see over and over again.

I know this might seem like backwards thinking to some people around here but how about holding the thieves accountable?

Ann Davison the current city attorney is suing those companies for this very reason.

I also own a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. The recall to install the anti-theft device is for 2014-2021 years only, so my vehicle is a sitting duck also. Seems like a foregone conclusion it will be stolen. I took everything out of it today including my cool floor mats. Will store my registration in my purse now. Using my Club religiously.

Sorry, comment time is over.
