Are there any protests scheduled today in West Seattle?  I wouldn’t expect any, but my apartment complex sent out a warning. Even mentioned something about the SW precinct, so I thought the warning letter was specific to our area and not just a nationwide inauguration protest warning.

No, as mentioned in our Crime Prevention Council story last night, there are not. I specifically asked the local SPD reps that.

I hope there are protests. Biden winning isn’t a victory. Just a step in dismantling Trump. We need more than Biden.

That was four years ago.  Remember?  Not my President/Pink hat marches.  This time we are being told it’s time to come together…..haha.

Heard some fireworks going off right as Biden was sworn in.  Pretty cool.

I love how he was sworn in BEFORE noon (12ish minutes early).  Couldn’t get it done soon enough! =)

Interesting FACT: the last two Republican administrations have turned the country over to a new administration in the midst of national crisis. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.……

sc – President Biden hopefully will be the Statesman that governs from the center that is sorely needed in this Country.
