Anyone else hear the explosion noise coming from Roxhill park, right near 29th and Barton? It sounded like someone set off a firework in a trash can, or the passing 21 bus blew a tire.  So loud that we could ‘feel’ the boom through our car.    7.43am-ish

The passing 21 did blow a tire.  I was waiting for that bus and he pulled over and went out of service when he turned on to 35th – said his tire had just gone flat on the way up the hill.

Well, that adds new possibilities to “What was THAT?” I did check the 911 log at the time of Sam-c’s comment and no responses re: fires/explosions. Thanks, Cass.

Thanks, Cass! Good to know.the kids in the car were so curious too.  Will have to remember to tell them what it was when I see them later.

Sorry, comment time is over.
