TRAFFIC/TRANSIT TODAY: Wet Wednesday

(Live view from the east-facing WS Bridge camera; other cameras are on the WSB Traffic page)
Rain was blamed for some of Tuesday morning’s traffic trouble – so give yourself some extra time this morning, since we’ve had more overnight. A lot more – about a quarter-inch in the official gauge at Sea-Tac. And some fog has drifted through, too.

I don’t know what the problem is but today is making yesterday’s commute look like a breeze.

Boo to the many drivers making an illegal left turn from SW Manning (north of Luna Park Cafe) onto Avalon, then trying to do a quick merge and cut the line in front of the cars and busses that have been waiting along Avalon. There’s a good reason SDOT made Manning right turn only (except for bicycles). Don’t be inconsiderate scofflaws, please.

the lower west seattle bridge was open during the commute this morning around 7:30. Strange that they cant wait until 9 to open the bridge.

Sorry, comment time is over.
