Sometime in the middle of the night, my 1998 Red Honda CRV was stolen from in front of my house on the 7300 block of 29th SW. Police report has been filed. CRV has older Yakima rack with roof mounted bike rack and rear tire mounted Thule 2 bike rack (silver and black). License plate 649VJZ, just in case any WSB readers see an out-of-place Red CRV matching description.
Our Honda CRV-1998 was stolen overhight two weeks ago, and as in your case, it was stolen from the front of our house. Ours is silver gray and WA license plates 416-UUU. The policeman who came to write the report said they find most of the stolen vehicles, alas ours hasn’t been found. He recommends that if someone leaves a vehicle on the street and doesn’t drive it often, to remove the battery and use one of those Clubs. Good luck with your vehicle….
Sorry to hear about your car. My friend had her 91 honda stolen recently and it was recovered 2 1/2 weeks later. Holding out hope for our CRV’s !
Either the club or a car alarm will suffice–based on 14 yrs of car ownership in Seattle.
Thinking about getting a club. I have 2 friends who had their cars stolen and returned then stolen again within a span of 2 weeks.
My silver 1998 Honda CRV was stolen in front of our Highland Park home the evening of Sept. 3rd. The ignition being punched. We filed a police report with the SPD officer (who was very responsive). It was found on Thursday by Kent PD. The good news is that damage was relatively minimal. I hope they find your CRV soon.
Our old CRV was stolen last month. It was found in White Center stripped. Hopefully yours will not suffer the same fate!!!
