Salmon returning to spawn in the Yakima River Tributaries are blocked by several Dams.
Two of these include the Lake Kachess Dam, and the Lake Keechelus Dams.
A fish ladder could be built similar to that built at Lake Cle Elum, but the State of Washington has no future plans on doing so.
If we want to increase Salmon for the starving Orcas, building Salmon passage over these dams would help.
Keeping the boats a few more hundred feet from Orca pods does very little.
If you would like to comment on this, could you first read up on what is happing to Lake Kachess and the States attempts to pump the lake down anothr 80 feet.
