Hi All: The video of the World’s First Ducky Tower of Terror is posted! You want to see it, you want to see it — are you feeling ducknotized?

Ummm… okay. Also, the weekly Duckwalk (like an Art Walk but more fun) continues tonight and every Thursday night until Halloween at the Sterling Images Gallery (7035 Beach Drive SW) — free prizes. Come on by and see the lifesize King Duck! Honest. It will blow your mind (he’s inside the gallery).

I saw it! I saw it!

Walked by this morning, to see the latest addition to the Halloween display!

Let’s just say, I found it *thrilling*! ;-)

My kids and I watched the video. Very cute and fun! I am going to write to Evening Mag. They should do a story on the duckies of West Seattle! I will be by next Thursday to check out the King Duck.

Seriously, is there an inside joke here?

    What’s the fascination with ducks?

No inside joke. “Duckitude” is the gentleman who lives near Lowman Beach and happens to be a rubber-duckie collector/displayer, to the delight of many passersby. His name is hotlinked to his site and if you’re interested, you can find out more there.

Duckitude, I’ve tried to talk them out of it, but my Pink FLamingos want me to ask if we can set up a play date sometime. Or if some of them can have a nonsopeaking role in one of the duckies’ upcoming productions. The flamingos are very talented non-speakers.

Of course, they’re way outnumbered by the duckies(only 18 at last count) but they’re definitely quality and duckies are the only being they consider a peer. I can see their points. House, it’s called fun. Silly fun, but — nevertheless :-)

Hi All: TheHouse — certainly a fascination, but more of a business, creating new ducky characters for use on greeting cards, calendars, and t-shirts, etc.

Charlabob — yah, a play date! Fun, fun, fun, until daddy took the t-bird away. I have some ideas about using flamingoes in some scenes and videos. Seriously. In the meantime, check these Halloween skeleton flamingoes — scary — I have one pair so far.
