Where to Watch the Celtics-Lakers Series

Any ideas on local sports or normal bars likely to have at least one television connected to the Celtics-Lakers series that starts Thursday? Yeah, I’m a die-hard Celtics fan — I even have a chunk of the original parquet floor — but this is also a historic game IMNHO — we’d love to watch it out and about with friends (or, barring that, with people who know a basketball from a soccer ball.) Sorry, but people who are used to the Sonics might not be longing to watch basketball…so I thought I’d ask here.

Best sports bar in West Seattle hands down is RockSport. They have a 100+ inch HD projector screen that will have the game, plus plasmas all around. Great bar food, especially the nachos, and reasonable drinks.

BDG..it will go into “hiatus” when Connor Homes develops that corner of the Alaska Junction into “retail and living space”…they will have first crack at one of the new spaces..hoping they find another location…

oh my gosh! i completly missed that. not that I go there all that much but i will sure miss it for teh few times i do go there. not only are there prices reasonable but the staff is so friendly too….

I heard- maybe here- that the Rocksport is not coming back when that ugly building is finished. Sad. I hope they find a new spot, too. That’s where I met my boyfriend!

That is so sad! Rocksport is one of my favorite places in West Seattle…very relaxed and you gotta love trivia.
