what was so hard to understand about that? Some would call it “diplomacy”.

dobroParticipantSomething I’ve never understood- why is bowing to a Saudi royal family member (a cultural courtesy that I’m sure would also be extended to, say, the Queen of England) such a big deal to “conservatives” while they never even blinked when W. was kissing and holding hands with them? (google the photos if you wish, I’m not going to look them up for you.)

JVMemberI think it means that after the election, he won’t be bothered by what the American public thinks.
He can just impose what he wants without consequence. Like Obamacare.

kootchmanMemberShow me one picture of RR bowing to the Queen of England. Bowing to foreign sovereign is a sign of fealty … not respect. We don’t do that. Holding hands? That we can do… it’s common in Arab cultures. Infact I believe it was Old Hickory…the first Democrat… that issued standing orders… we don’t even dip the national ensign to friend or foe. We might to a friend “if” the friendly power does it first..and..captain of the ship says so. But I never saw it. Maybe it was his muslim conditioning.

What about the kissing? And why is it ok to do things that are common in Arab culture (according to you) but not things that are common in, say, English culture (bowing in respect to the Royals)
BTW, here’s a report of Saint Ronnie bowing to the Prince. I don’t have time to look up the photo. And, I know, I know, its not the Queen but if he bowed to the Prince I don’t see why he wouldn’t bow to the Queen.

The Affordable Care Act was passed by Congress in accordance with its rules and protocol and signed by the POTUS, a constitutional practice that has happened thousands of times during the course of our nation’s existence. It was not “imposed”. Only in Bizarro World.

Show me where that has happened in US History? Anywhere, anytime. But as you say…. if that was ok legislation in your book… here comes the backlash.. no complaints now when the republicans return the favor.
What what side conversations he is having with labor, big pharma, greenies, etc… if he will BS our strategic partners and then tell the Russian president to pass along to Putin he will fold like a cheap suit later….. whew. what can you trust from the man… he can’t tell his own people the straight story… compare him to RR at Reykavik!!!
Remember the open mic when he was sucking up to Sarkosy? Same deal… Isreal needed a friend in the councils of Europe… a firms strong voice of support… they got Obama… we should rename 6400 PA Ave… the Waffle House.
NOW he is an unwavering Iseali supporter… ha ha ha after he lost a century old congressional seat, saw the FL polls and the reception BeBe got in congress…. no wonder Isreal doesn’t trut him… over half the USA doesn’t. We wouldn’t understand… it’s a muslim thing … lying to infidels is ok.

you need your head checked dude. last I checked, being muslim, which obama is not, is not about ‘lying to infidels’. I guess I can then go with, being a catholic means child molestation is ok.
want to talk policies, fine… but bigotry and religious hatred is something that I think most here will not tolerate. We know you hate Obama, even though he pushes many right wing politics, so from your comments, it must come from race and/or (perceived) religious bigotry.
