admiralresidentParticipantI live in Admiral and am self employed. Would like people to walk with me and my small dog (no other dogs please, mine is timid)to get exercise. Alki, Lincoln Park. Ideally able to be spontaneous (my schedule changes daily)like: hi, are you up for a walk?
Also would enjoy meeting people who are well educated and interesting to talk with.

Unfortunately, I also have a dog and couldn’t possibly go on a walk without her!

credmondParticipantGood luck. It’s a great idea. I have a friend in Green Lake who calls me or I call him and we trade walks in each other’s neighborhood. Alas, the best way to get from here to there and vice versa is still the POV – time IS money. But, Admiral’s got some great walkable areas – go to Zatz or Revolution Coffee or Alki bike or Atomic Toys and pick up the West Seattle walking map.

littlebrowndogParticipantWe’re big walkers, but our dogs always come along with us. They are well-behaved, but one may be bigger (15 1/4″ inches) than yours and the other is definitely bigger at 20 1/2″. I am also self-employed with a variable schedule. I am pretty well educated (took me a while, but I finally got there) but not so sure how interesting a conversationalist I am when not working. More a Libertarian than Democrat or Republican. If you wanted to give it a try with just me and my dog, not the larger one, let me know. I certainly can understand small timid dogs that get overwhelmed by other dogs, though.

JeannieParticipantHi, Admiralresident! Are you and your petite dog up for a walk around 5:30 PM today (June 20)? I don’t have a dog, so that wouldn’t be an issue. If so, you can email me at aroth@111@gmail.com. Or just respond to this post right here on the blog. We could meet outdie the Cafe Ladro and walk Lincoln Park. I walk fairly quickly, but I don’t run. And I usually go for about 60-80 minutes.
