Trick or Treaters?

This is our first Halloween in West Seattle. We live on 49th a few blocks from the Junction. Should we expect trick or treaters on Halloween?

Your best bet is to ask your neighbors. It seems like each block is unique around here. I’m on 48th near Findlay and rarely get trick or treaters, I think because of the speeding cars, but surrounding streets seem to get more visitors.

Topography and number of steps to your house seem to have a lot to do with how many kids you get.

I can’t speak for the last two or three years but we used to live on 49th and Juneau and 49th was THE BEST street to trick or treat on! We moved after a few years but still went back to 49th every year for trick or treating. The houses are close together, lots of kids and always plenty of participating houses. Never had to go any further!
