Tons of sirens southwest area?

Anyone know what is going on with all the sirens? There was just a second big wave of them.

The second wave was possibly what was reported over the scanner as a shooting in White Center and then reported as “no shooting” – it was right after I got back from photographing the Roxbury car-on-side crash, and I was about to head out again until the radio traffic said in essence, never mind. There was a later report of an “assault” near 15th/Roxbury, no details though – TR

… and since this one will not likely become a separate story, there was a call that went out just now for 9200 block of 30th SW, first reported as possible shooting, now looks like some other kind of assault, not major.
