Resident assaulted outside 7/11 on Delridge.
Ongoing occupation of Yards Are Us house on Delridge.
And, my elderly neighbor, in the 9200 block of 21st Ave SW, who had very advanced dementia, who’s home has been occupied by criminals, and are conducting constant drug and prostitution activity while draining her resources. And yes, we have been fighting this for two years via every possible agency.
The criminals are winning, and it is the fault of Seattle’s liberal approach to “harm reduction” We don’t need to protect them from themselves, we need to protect us.

julie98106ParticipantLast night between MN and 0730 there were 22 entries to Dora’s home , based on our security footage. People coming and going in cars, people meeting at the gate or in front of my home, people checking the mailbox, people going out, running in, and sending someone else out all within the 90 second video.
Yesterday Dora’s sister and brother in law showed up at noon. Within 60 seconds they kicked out a woman and young man. The woman is probably the one that assaulted Jeanette Randall at the 7-11, and stole mail down the street this week.
They soon left and returned with multiple bags of groceries and beverages. They stayed until 1345.
They left Dora with the same people that have been conducting all this activity.
Around 1700 the young man who is living there started pacing the front yard, repeatedly giving our camera the finger, playing with himself, and stalking our fence line. He was unable to name of the owner of the home where he has been staying for the last week. “Deb, she’s my Aunt”.Repeatedly calling people, leaning over the gate, looking around, and rocking while gripping the fence. Dan came home at 1720 and warned him off.
I contacted APS yesterday. There is a case open. I left a message for the caseworker.

mom2boysParticipantTake the elderly women to the ER at harborview explain she may have been assulted, that she needs a guardian and placement. I work in the system calling APS will do nothing if elderly women says the transients have permission to be there.

julie98106ParticipantUnfortunately, she is isolated from all neighbors, and the family is incensed that we are violating their Culture.
They may as well have dropped her off on Delridge.

kayoParticipantWe had a similar nightmarish house across the street for years. Screaming, yelling, drugging, fights, then finally a child living in the home started burglarizing homes. It was a mess. At some point APS got involved and started interviewing neighbors about the situation (including us). They were keeping tabs on things for a while before the elderly man was finally moved out and into a nursing home (and everyone else was kicked out and banned from the home – on threat of arrest – and we were keeping an eye on things). He died shortly thereafter, the house was sold and the problem was resolved. We were ready to move it was so bad prior to this all going down. Keep calling APS. Keep calling the police. Keep the pressure on. Hopefully, this will be dealt with sooner rather than later. I am so sorry. Been there.

Publishing third parties’ names is against our rules – it appears also that the OP here is publishing correspondence from somebody else, and that this is some kind of longrunning feud. It’s one thing to post and ask for help and advice but all the rest of it does not belong here. So I’m deleting the three posts that are cut-and-pasted correspondence from someone else. I will leave the thread for now – with some trepidation – in case anyone else has advice for Julie but if it goes back to rule-breaking use of others’ names and personal details, we will delete it. – Tracy
