stop sign runners

My husband and I have both witnessed and almost been the victims of people blowing right through stop signs! These folks don’t even slow down. It is so dangerous and so illegal. Please stop. You know who you are.

Thank you. The running-of-the-stop-sign on westbound Thistle onto northbound California, an act which has nearly killed Team WSB at least half a dozen times (yes, there ARE some of us who drive through that intersection from the stub of California to the south), continues unabated … I am thinking about staking out with my video camera one day just to create a vignette. We do often get fine members of the Seattle Police Department on emphasis patrol to catch these folks so really, think twice, there may be a patrol car lurking in the direction you’re not looking. — TR

Seattle is one of the better cities I’ve been to. In Florida as a whole, red lights meant nothing. I usually see people even stopping for yellows here.

I see stop sign runners weekly at the T of Alki Ave. SW & 63rd. Thursday, the police were monitoring the intersection. As I was walking by, they pulled over a car for running the stop. NIce to see.
