hopey – “Their backup trailer wasn’t ready but they had to use it.” They didn’t HAVE to do anything. They should have shut down and waited. There is no excuse for putting people’s health at risk. It’s irresponsible and gross.

pigeonmom – I sincerely hope you took your visitors to anywhere OTHER than Skillet. Of all the wonderful LOCAl places in WS to eat…..

Re: location — I don’t think it’s 40th/Genesee – I believe it’s 41st. But whatever it is, it’s across the street from Seattle Lutheran, who owns the parking lot and gave them permission. Haven’t asked yet if they will be back next week after they decided today to take their non-closed trailer to the baseball game instead of to West Seattle.

I haven’t had Skillet since it’s come to the West side but the lack of hot water is rather scary for any mobile food unit!

I was excited to see that the new Korean-Hawaiian taco truck (mentioned previously) has a menu and schedule up now and is expected to open “mid-June”. YUM!!!

Anyone seen the Maximus Minimus truck that’s parked downtown, a block east of Pike Place Market? It’s shaped like a Pig…awesome! Would be great to see more creative truck designs like that one. :-)

Here’s a cool site for restaurant inspection reports (Seattle & King County Health Dept.):
