BlendParticipantgood job! Chupys are here and they are queer..so get used to it. I decided to starve my Chupy in hopes that he would eat the tremendous amount of spiders that have invaded our home. He refuses so far but we will see…

hopeyParticipantI would love to see the WSB Forums’ 100,000th post be on this thread. :)

Garden_nymphMemberI agree, what a milestone it would be, and such a fun thread too!

BlendParticipantI want to divorce my Chupy. He just lays around all day watching Days of Our Lives and The Price is Right. I am getting sick of it. And I tell him do the dishes and he says NO! I need to find me a Chupy with a better attitude.
September 7, 2010 at 4:08 pm #697691
celeste17ParticipantWell I don’t think a divorce is possible. Think of the alimony payments. I would think having a lazy Chupy would be better then a chuppy who has money from a divorce (and you know they would win in a divorce court). Just entice it with some scrap metal.

BlendParticipantI will not reward this bad behavior Celeste. I learned this out the hard way :(
But yes..I have been dealing with this the best I can. I purchased him a Wii..so he can stay fit while playing video games. And stay outta my hair too. He seems to like it. We are on our 8th controller because he keeps putting a hot dog bun around them and scarfing them down. But yah..things are still better than before.

celeste17ParticipantWell you can always claim domestic violence against your chuppy. Or claim harassment and then you can get a protection order and then you can bar them from the property and or from approaching you at work. I work for King County Sheriff and unfortunately I see these reports all to often and it is more woman then men seeking the protection orders but there are some men. It so sad to read the reports as to what happens.
So maybe even though your chuppy is lazy at least you are safe with him.

UnderaTreeMemberMy chupster came home late, drenched and in need of a bath. He complained that he is itching a lot and just needed to get out and search for some nice clean metal. I wonder if he is itching due to an allergy to the paint in the metal? Does anyone know a place to purchase organic, local metal?
I love to take care of my Chupie he is like my baby.

BobLoblawParticipantHI all: Was wondering if you could help. Christmas is coming up and we want to adopt a Chupie for the kids. We hear thousands of people get Chupies for Xmas gifts every year and never regret the decision.
.
Anyhow, sorry if this has been brought up before, but I didn’t want to actually read through the thread (I’m really busy and need to get out in trafic this morning because tings aren’t messed up enough for my tastes): Where is the closest place to adopt a Chupie? It seems like they are pretty good deal, what with the one-time adoption fee being all that’s needed for a lifetime investment?
Edit: I see I misspelled ‘things’ up above as ‘tings.’ I will come back and edit it later when I’m not so busy. You can call off the Grandma Nazis.
October 25, 2010 at 5:20 pm #697697
JoBParticipantthe grandma nazis were napping with their chupies ;->
October 25, 2010 at 5:50 pm #697698
BlendParticipantI would advise against getting a chupy off of Craigslist. There is a man on there who is getting them for free and charging huge adoption fees for them. These chupys are usually sick and will demand you get them HBO and large buckets of popcorn. They are lazy and a hassle and will be more trouble than they are worth!
October 25, 2010 at 6:25 pm #697699
BobLoblawParticipantBut what about the children?

VanessaParticipantRemember back in the good old days, when going to the mall was an event? And one of the highlights was going to the pet store and looking at those cute little chupies right in the store front window….Do I even need to remind all of you, that those adorable little ugly babies came from chupie-mills…..they’re bred in little metal cages and grow up with bad teeth and terrible hip dysplasia. So if you’re thinking about getting one for Halloween or Xmas, make sure you know where they’re from.

sam-cParticipantmine has saved a bunch of money (allowance from chores). can any-one recommend a bank that will allow a chupy to hang in the bank lobby AND open a bank account ?
October 26, 2010 at 6:13 am #697703
ws4everMemberA few of the banks appeared to have hired robots, so avoid these banks. Drool from your chupy may cause the metallic parts to seize up.

UnderaTreeMemberMerry Christmas and Happy New Year!
