To the selfish person stealing flowers from yards on 31st & Webster, are you really proud of yourself for taking flowers that someone else worked hard to pay for? There is no excuse for this.

Not too far away in Gatewood, I’ve noticed (a couple of times) a middle-aged woman walking a small dog creating a little bouquet for herself with small flowers from a bunch of front yards. Some weeds/dandelions; some actual flowers. I was not dressed completely to go outside and converse with this person.

Mine are being dug out of the ground. I go out and there is just a hole in my front garden. I’ve lost 6 newly planted flowers in the last week.

oh Flower Girl, I’m so sorry – I’d be LIVID. I put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into my yard and I’d be gnashing my teeth (at best) if the same happened to me.

Can you set up a camera of some sort or take a day and sit and watch the front after the next round of planting? I know that’s a pain, but it’d be nice to catch them.
