Anyone know what the plume of clouds is/was due east and a bit north of Seattle at around 1 or 1:15 today/Saturday?

fires over near Chelan, they think…there’s also fire near Cle Elum, I think…

Lots of fires but if it was localized, could have been the Blue Angels’ smoke (see the photos in our just-published front-page roundup) …

Fire in the Holden Village area. KIRO has a photo on their website. Stehekin nearest town that I have heard of.

Sure was big, could see it from the water at anchor park.

Other potential causes of smoke plumes in Seattle may include people enjoying the fruits of Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop – located at 23rd & Union, free matches and papers with every purchase, home of the $8.00 gram!

I sense a Cheech and Chong movie possibility. Ganga fire burns 1200 acres of perfectly legal in Washington greenery. Smoke cloud stagnate over Seattle. Results would be?
