I guess I am a cheap – I’ll pay for *my* haircut but for my dude I just don’t think it should cost as much. :)

He does have crazy 2 cowlick growth pattern – so it can’t be cheap and bad.

Also, I’d love a place that he could go after work (like 6-8 PM) so it does not take away from weekend time.

    Thanks!

actually, try Budget cuts. I see a lot of guys in there…price? 13.95….and they’re open evenings for walk-ins…

I am a big fan of Westside.

Westside Barber on California about 2 blocks south of PCC. Ask for Heidi – she is awesome, and not expensive. I think we pay around $22 for husband’s hair, and she scissor-cuts, not clipper.

Budget Cuts is the best. they also have a punch card. free shampoo after 5 haircuts, free haircut after 10. i see guys in there all the time and their hair always looks great.

Heidi doesn’t work at Westside any more. Hasn’t for 6 mos. or so (unless they hired a new Heidi). It’s too bad, I liked her too.

But the new people they have still do a fine job. Duffy usually cuts mine these days and she’s great.

Unless your mortgage is under $25, I think Westside qualifies. And if your mortgage is under $25, you can afford to go there. ;)

maplesyrup that’s sad news. The “bitter half” will be disappointed. Good thing I’ve been giving him a clipper cut in the backyard for the last six months or so. I’ve even gotten good at a nice, neat, short scissor cut on his curly hair.

Maybe I should start a side business ;-)
