I have an old Mac laptop, which I adored in its time, but it is archaic now (1995). Largely due to not knowing how to do this, I still have yet to transfer files from it to a PC (long story of why the move to PC, but mostly employer-related).

So, my Mac files are on Mac-formatted ZIP disks and old Mac-formatted floppies. The computer is much too slow to do any internet transfer. Is there a way to get these files from the Mac-formatted Zip and floppy disks (again, circa late 90s) to some format that I can read now?

    Many thanks!

What kind of files are they. What about burning them onto a CD from your mac? I assume you no longer have a Zip drive you could hook up to your PC?

Thanks for the tips. The old CD drive that is compatible with it is a read-only and just a 2X. I do have the Zip drive, but I thought it was only Mac compatible. I’ll take a look and see if I can hook it up to an old PC. This is what I get for letting the project sit on the backburner too long.
