poor baby…
i hope someone can help him.
Christmas Eve hubby and i had lunch with my son in Mill Creek.. he turned the big 40… while at lunch the sliding door on our minivan was somehow triggered in spite of locked doors.. the one in a million possibility that someone else’s remote triggered ours… and the dogs bolted. A woman driving down the next street grabbed a leash and jumped out of her car to corral our shibas because she knew first hand how dangerous it is for a dog on the run. We discovered the open slider and ran around the corner to find a small crowd around the pups. She had looped a leash around the neck of one and the other stayed.
We were very lucky people that someone cared enough to step up and save our pups from injury or worse.
from now on i am disabling the slider when i leave the car .. but who knew i would need to? Loose dogs don’t necessarily mean reckless owners…
i hope this story has an equally happy ending…
we live off 35th and will keep an eye out.
