quinkygirlParticipantI’m queer and poly and am looking for a solid, non-judgmental primary care physician in West Seattle. My wonderful doctor at Swedish is no longer at the practice. Anybody have any recommendations?

2oldParticipantOMG you’re making feel very old but I had to google the word “poly” because I had no idea what it meant!
Sorry I can’t help you with a Doctor to see but I can tell you one not to see…Christina Recinto.March 10, 2017 at 11:50 am #876746
JanSParticipantI know she’s not in West Seattle, but maybe consider Dr. Betsy Brown in the Polyclinic at 7th and Madison – I love her…here’s her bio: https://polyclinic.com/providers/betsy-brown

marcoParticipantNot my expertise, but check out http://quhac.gaycity.org/providers/49
(I found that via https://www.gaycity.org/clinics-medical/ )Also, I think I’ve seen a gay pride flag on the clinic at Alaska & 37th.
Good luck!

birdrescuerParticipantIt is my experience that all the docs at Polyclinic are welcoming and extremely capable. I would go anywhere else.

aaParticipantIf you are willing to leave WS, Dr. Robert Hogg Swedish in Ballard. Awesome, smart, kind, he will actually listen to you.

JanSParticipantbirdrescuer…I love all my docs there. I see a few specialists(nephrologist, cardiologist, etc) besides Betsy Brown, and have great care, great rapport…couldn’t ask for better

PonderosaParticipant(Edit) I was also going to recommend Dr. Hogg because I think my non-verbal special needs brother sees him as well–but I realize I might be confusing doctors (there are several). I think it’s him, though!

dhgParticipantSee Dr. Angela Ross, a naturopathic physician. She’s got a very warm and welcoming manner and has a number of gay and transgender patients in her care (This is, after all, West Seattle) http://www.lifespannaturopathic.com

NitroParticipantI think Dr Lisa Britton at the Fransiscian Clinic in Westwood Village would be great. The clinic is near Staples in WWV.
