yeah-meParticipantI am looking for someone to visit/stay in my home while on vacation. I looked up previous threads but they were all a bit old and I was unsuccessful in my attempts to email them.
I have dogs and cats, but the one that needs the most care is a young pup.
Thnx

DMHParticipantI recommend Fetch! PetCare of West Seattle. We had our in home consultation today and met with the manager Deva and the actual pet sitter that would be staying over. Extremely professional and organized. I decided to use them after getting rave reviews from a friend who has had them over several times in the past year. My dogs instantly loved them. :) They are also licensed, bonded & insured. The price for in-home pet sitting was extremely reasonable approx $50/night for 2 dogs (of course that price is variable depending on special needs etc..)

flowerpetalMemberI agree, Four on the Floor is great! If they are busy, equally wonderful is Dawdrys. http://www.dawdrys.com

wessieMemberDMH et al: I CANNOT recommend Fetch. We had an incredibly bad experience. All sounded well at first but it turned out the owner of the business showed up and stayed under 5 minutes. We’re still looking for a good sitter ourselves after cutting ties with Fetch.
And yes, we notified Fetch immediately after discovering the first incident, gave them the opportunity to explain, when it happened a second time, we asked for our keys back.

richwseattleParticipantDrop Kirsten a line at kirsten@auntiekirsten.com. She does pet-visit, and walks, as well as in-house stay-over pet/house-sitting.

lindapMemberThe best, most reliable pet sitter I know is Sharon over at 206 799-1447. The only reason we can go on vacation comfortably is because we know Sharon is taking care of all our pets (a big dog, two cats and various turtles). Honestly, give her a try.

jwwsParticipantTalk to Nancy Evans (WSGT) – she does this and Jim R. just used her for little Dolce and was quite happy – drop me an e-mail if you need her phone # – you know who I am!
