Hi: Not sure, but about a month ago, close to 40 crows were rampaging in a tree across from my place just north of Lincoln Park. Several observers were under the impression or had seen what the rucus was all about — the crows divvying up the remains of an eagle baby.
They were so out of control and hysterical (is that possible, hysterical crows) that it had to be something like destroying an eaglet.
When I lived in the midwest the rule of law was “kill a crow, save a duck” because the crows would decimate the duck baby population.
Not sure about the crows in Seattle, but, my guess is, the more the grow, the less you will see of eagles and eagle babies.
