Kayaking.. West Seattle put -ins?

I thought there was an earlier post, but I couldnt find it.

I recently bought daughter and I a couple 8 foot kayaks. I am looking for a calmer place to put them in and get past the learning curve.

Greenlake is fun and all, but I want to explore the beach and the Duwamish next.

Or if you have any suggestions of other lakes/bays that we should check out, that would be great.
