charlabobParticipantThe ubiquitious “JanS Jar” was last seen in BPP on a table by the water pitcher and plasticware when we were last there a couple of weeks ago.
Sounds like there was also some interest in starting a Jan the Second Jar for the woman whose business was attacked by a run-away car.
I just didn’t want to engender extra confusion (than my usual) by bringing up multiple Jan Jars where there may be none. :-)

As far as knowing who everyone is, I think I will probably only recognize about 2 people (a lot of new members are coming)!
I can tell you that I am very tall (for a girl) and I have shoulder length brown hair. I will be there with my guy who has curly brown hair. Not sure what I’m wearing yet (depends on if the sun comes out!!!!!)

NR- I knew that, that’s why I didn’t go there last night. *laughs* Sometimes beer needs dinner with it. I was all day with out food…the Skylark beat out BPP last night.

soclwrkrinmotnMemberNo, thanks for the heads up. I WOULDN’T have known had I not checked the website. It is atypical for a pub to not serve food directly (I like their idea, tho) so anyone could be blindsided.
Oh, I know you are perfectly nice–we’ve met. We may not agree on a lot of things, but that certainly doesn’t mean we aren’t nice.

Let me tell you, I would’ve much preferred being there than having my car break down in the middle of the intersection of 45th & Brooklyn in U-District, locked in park and unable to be shoved out of the intersection . . . not my idea of fun . . . A lot of new members showed up and a lot of older members were there!
It was a great opportunity to hang out and meet the people that you talk to daily on the forum!

JanSParticipantI’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer….what a great group of people. I feel like I left the party just as it was starting, but I saw a great show – Avenue Q. Funny, raunchy (considering it’s muppet-like characters), really good production.
Next time I get to stay at the party longer….I mean, I was leaving just as House was arriving….not even time to be contentious – lol…

I felt as though I didn’t get to talk with everyone enough and we definitely need to do it again, JoB, I agree!
Wanted to point out that House was appropriately attired in his “Mr. Rude” T-shirt! Loved it!
Also wanted to say that some of you were missed (JT – who was nice enough to babysit so I could go, charla and the bob, Tonya42, BDG…)
Another get-together is definitely in order!

TheHouseMemberI wish I could have stayed longer…I woke up from an afternoon nap too late and only had about an hour to hang before the loser Mariners game.
I had some really good conversations with a few of you (I’m terrible with names), but I was able to stay off the politics tip and gab about gardening and cooking.
The one person I really wanted to say “Hi” to wasn’t there…maybe next time, Jen!

keleesoMemberI was so scared to meet new people, but I hade a fabulous time with JoB, Aim, Socialwkrinmotion, Jenv, JenV’s boyfriend (sorry-too loud to hear your name!), Todd in Westwood, Squareeyes, katydid (and her sister) and Bikefor1. I don’t know that I got everyone’s names right because it was a little loud, but it was lovely! Everyone was just so civilized… something I was not sure I would see after perusing the forums!

Also at the table and not captured was AlkiKmac and her dog Myrtle…her hubby is the hair-challenged dude at the far left at the bar. It was also fun to meet Trick and his GF, Susan (again) and Krpam (sp?) (her hubby). And also to meet Todd in Westwood, JenV & BF, Aim and Soc. And good to see TheHouse and JoB again.
